Summer is the peak travel season in Washington. But your experience can vary greatly depending on where you visit. On the eastern side of the state, temperatures are hot, while the western side offers much cooler weather. We are located in Copalis Beach on the western side, where the cooling influence of the Pacific keeps summer temperatures comfortable. It usually stays around the 60s and 70s, and has a few rainy days.

By late fall, the weather has dropped to the 40s and 50s, and rainfall has increased.

Life comes back to the coast during spring. After all the winter rain, the region blossoms with lush greenery and wildflowers. Spring is best known for the whale migration, when over 20,000 gray whales migrate through the waters by Copalis Beach. The best time to see the whales is from March to May.
